Many problems come from unsafe water, and a critical issue is children missing school due to a lack of access to safe water. That’s where the Equal Access program comes in - a global initiative that raises funds to provide safe water to schools and school communities worldwide.
In 2023, the program planned to donate safe water installations to seven schools in seven locations around the world. They wanted to generate awareness of this campaign and engaged us to create content that would be used to captivate audiences and tell their story.
Equal Access – Safe Water for Schools Challenge is a global fundraising program that donates safe water installations to schools and school communities worldwide.
Working in tandem with on-ground partners, the program has provided safe water technology and installations to a diverse range of locations globally, in countries like Myanmar, Kenya, Colombia, Haiti and Mozambique to name a few.
We started by creating an initial challenge video. Our goal was to showcase the transformative impact of the Equal Access program on lives, and we achieved this through the integration of some incredible photos from past installations into the video.
In addition to the initial challenge video, we produced a follow-up video that delved into a safe water installation in Myanmar. This installation occurred directly as a result of the Equal Access 2023 fundraising program, and was one of the seven schools chosen for a safe water installation in 2023.
We centred the video’s narrative on the faces, voices, and most importantly passion behind the cause - creating a heartwarming video that showed the tangible impact the Equal Access program was having on schools around the world.
The outcome was a series of videos that effectively raised awareness for the Equal Access challenge and captivated audiences with the program’s genuine impacts.
